Attention MINELAB owners! Are you tired of flipping the Fixed/Tracking switch? For years owners of the Minelab GP3000, GP Extreme and SD2200 metal detectors have had to adjust their ground balance manually by reaching down to the front panel and flipping the switch by hand. The Gold Button eliminates this process and saves valuable detecting time by adding “push-button” ground balance to any of the above models. Once installed, simply push the button on the top of the handle to adjust the ground balance and go – it’s that easy! Now prospectors can add the same “push-button” control found on the newer GP and GPX series machines without having to purchase a brand new detector.

The Gold Button is made in the USA and is a complete handle upgrade that doesn’t require any wire cutting or soldering. It is easy to install even for those without a technical background. Included with our kit are: Gold Button Handle, Adjustable Bungee Cord, Instruction Booklet, and Tool Kit.

The GBX model which is shown here is a two position button. Once installed the GBX will allow the Fixed/Tracking switch on the metal detector to be placed in the Fixed position. When the button is clicked up the detector is in the Fixed mode. Click the button down and the detector is in Tracking mode (Down = Tracking, Up = Fixed). It is compatible with the Minelab GP3000, GP Extreme and SD2200 (D & V2 models). If your detector is fitted with an S-Bend shaft, you will need to replace it with a straight shaft for proper mounting. *Installation of this product will void the Minelab warranty.
